Suzanne uses a multifaceted approach combining nursing knowledge and complementary therapies to assist people to assimilate temporary or long term changes in their health.

When faced with changes in our everyday life, being provided with information, a listening ear and therapy can assist in managing that change.  My focus is on helping people to assimilate changes with the aid of various therapies and information.  Sometimes conditions, injuries and experiences are resolved and sometimes they are lived with.  In both cases, natural therapies can play a role in assisting people to find their way forward and to be supported while doing so.

Sore, tired, aching, congested feet; tender, stiff muscles; difficulty relaxing, feeling out of balance, needing some time out, seeking assistance with a specific problem?  Some of the outcomes I work on are stimulation of blood and lymph flow, relieving tightness and soreness, lymphatic drainage, energizing, promoting relaxation and calmness and balancing the body systems in addition to working on specific areas, thus aiding in the body's natural healing processes.

My own interest in natural therapies was sparked when I spent a few months working on a health farm in Ireland.  At the time, I had completed my General and Midwifery Nursing Training in Australia and was working in the UK.  The health farm, in a rural area in County Mayo in the West of Ireland, was my first introduction to yoga and therapeutic massage.

After returning to Australia, I enjoyed nursing for many years while continuing my interest in natural therapies.  In 2007 I commenced formal studies in Reflexology, Aromatherapy and Remedial Massage and, later, Australian Wild Flower Essences, Healing Touch and Reiki.  Over the years I've used various natural therapies myself to assist in managing times of increased stress and change and to provide a sense of general well being.  Since 2013 I have focused solely on providing Natural Therapy services.

Combining my nursing and natural therapies knowledge allows me to develop a session for you, focusing on the areas which need attention.  This may include various forms of reflexology (feet, face, hands and ears), acupressure, healing touch energy therapy, relaxation massage, selected remedial massage techniques and use of essential oils from plants (aromatherapy and wild flower essences).  Aromatherapy and wild flower essences products can be tailor-made for your use.

Further information about the various therapies can be found under the appropriate headings.

When you come for an appointment, we'll discuss any areas of imbalance and begin to work with them.  I have found that being able to achieve a level of relaxation during a session assists you to respond to the techniques being used.

A car park is available immediately outside my clinic room and there is also street parking available.

HICAPS for remedial massage is available on site. Acupressure, reflexology and aromatherapy can be components of a remedial massage.

Eftpos is available.
